Ethiopian Kinche (Cracked Wheat)


1 cup cracked organic Kinche
2 tablespoons Niter Kibbeh (clarified seasoned butter)
Sea Salt
2 cups water


Wash oats until water is clear, strain 


  1. Add Aja and water to a small pot and bring to boil
  2. Lower heat and continue to cook covered, cook until oats are fluffy and tender, about 5 minutes
  3. Remove from heat keep covered until ready to serve
  4. Mix with butter and serve
  5. Add Salt to taste
